she/her/hers
Saya graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 2019 with a Master's of Art in Art Therapy. She received her bachelor's degree in fine art with dual emphasis in ceramics and printmaking, and a minor in anthropology, prior to earning her degree in Art Therapy. As an artist, she understands how both revealing and vulnerable art can be, and with her gentle nature, she assists clients through their own self-discovery process.
Through her educational, professional, and personal experiences, she has had the opportunity and pleasure of working and engaging with individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, and ages, including LGBTQ++ individuals. These experiences have led her to develop an integrated approach utilizing art therapy, trauma-focused CBT, strength based, and client-centered modalities. She has great empathy and compassion for her clients while she assists them in developing greater insight, self-awareness and self-compassion.
She wants to help you discover your strengths in finding that you are capable of overcoming challenges, as well as gaining a deeper understanding that self-care is self-love.
